Setting up Four Fix Editing
Four Fix Editing Logo
The first logo I created was created quite quickly. I knew I didn't want the logo to be overly complicated as then it wouldn't be as rememberable and effective. I liked the look of the first logo I created, as it was simple and it adequately shows the audience what services my business is offering. I then decided to create another logo in which I was more happy to use for my business.

I used the website 'Free Logo Design' to create a very similar logo to the one on the left. I then recreated the logo on Word Processing as the website didn't allow me to download a high resolution version of the logo I created. And the image on the right was the final product, until I made a new one.

This website is a very useful resource to use when you are setting up a business as it give you all the right tools to create a professional logo. It also gives you an option to select the type of business you're wanting to create and then gives you examples of logos, relating to that specific field.

This is my final logo I am using, as I have already set up an Instagram account, YouTube account and website, in which I have my logo highly visible to my audience. To create this logo I used an app on my phone called 'Logopit Plus'. The resources are similar to the ones on the website I used to produce my first logo. I selected a shape where it looked similar to a forward button and altered the filling pattern and lowered the transparency. I then added my business name over the symbol and changed the font to make it look professional. Though having to make a logo on an app is a little difficult to create as you're working on a small screen, this was the only draw back I found personally, otherwise I found this app very helpful. One feature I found very useful was the fact you can create different images, for example:
I used the website wix.com to create my website as it was recommended to me by friend. Before I created the website I ensured I had a business name, logo, professional CV and business cards. Once I had the basics of my new business complete, I then began setting up my official Four Fix Editing website.
I ensured I included all my relevant information and contact details so my views are able to see what Four Fix Editing entails, a written description on the projects I've worked on so far, my show reel and my finished documentary. As I have stated on my website, I will update my views with y newest projects once they have been completed. From this, I could also include teaser trailers on what I am working on, therefore I will be keeping my views up to date and interested in Four Fix Editing. I have mentioned within my website for viewers to get in touch if they have any queries or business requests.
I have also created a YouTube channel so my views are able to subscribe and like my videos. This also widens my SEO, and allows me to gain another platform where I can receive feedback on my creations. I am planning to change my YouTube cover picture to make it look a little more interesting, plus for it to include some of my contact details and social media accounts.
I have also created an Instagram where you can keep up to date with FFE, what I am doing and for updates on projects. I have included all my relevant contact details and links so views are able to read more about what I do.
